Start solids without second-guessing every bite.

If you've got a food-reactive baby, you already know that the standard "just start with avocado and have fun!" advice doesn't cut it. Every new food feels like a gamble. The stakes feel impossibly high.

I've been there. Twice. Both of my daughters had food protein allergies, and I remember the anxiety of those early food trials vividly.

This masterclass is what I wish someone had handed me back then. It's a clear, research-informed framework for starting solids with a baby who reacts to foods. No fluff, no fear-mongering. Just practical strategy you can actually use.

📚 WHAT WE COVER

We work through the full picture, from "is my baby actually ready?" all the way through reintroduction if something goes sideways.

The foundations. Real readiness signs (not just "they're 6 months old"), how to choose first foods that are nutritious but low-risk, and whether to do purees, baby-led weaning, or both.

The cadence piece. How to structure food trials so you can actually tell what's causing what. This includes FPIES-specific considerations, because that's a different beast entirely.

Early allergen introduction. The research is clear that early introduction of peanuts, eggs, and tree nuts is protective. But doing it with a reactive baby requires a smarter approach. I walk you through exactly how.

Recognizing reactions. What's a reaction vs. what's normal baby weirdness? We cover IgE vs. non-IgE timing, what to look for in diapers (with photos, because that's genuinely helpful), and skin reactions that actually matter vs. ones that don't.

Reintroduction. If your baby fails a food, it may not be permanent. I teach you how to approach reintroduction, including direct vs. indirect methods, laddering, and when to try again.

👩‍🔬 ABOUT ME

I'm Trill Paullin, co-founder of Free to Feed, molecular biologist (PhD in Cellular & Molecular Biology), and mom to two girls who both had food protein allergies as infants. I started Free to Feed because when I was in the thick of it with my first daughter, I couldn't find resources that actually addressed what we were going through. Everything was either too surface-level or written for a completely different situation.

My background is in research. I've received grants from the National Science Foundation, was a Hoover Institution Veteran Fellow at Stanford, and I'm a Pat Tillman Scholar. But what shaped this course most was living through it myself and then helping thousands of other families do the same.

  • Who is this for?

Parents of food-reactive babies who are starting (or have already started) solids. Your baby might have FPIAP, FPIES, non-IgE allergies, IgE allergies, or you might not have a formal diagnosis but you know something's going on.

Also helpful if you've already started solids and it's been rough. The reintroduction and troubleshooting sections will be especially relevant.

My baby is already eating solids. Is this still useful?

Yes! A lot of parents find us after they've already started and hit a wall. Unexplained reactions, confusion about what to try next, feeling stuck. The reintroduction and reaction-identification content is built for exactly that.

How is this different from the free stuff on your Instagram?

Free content gives you pieces. This is the whole picture, organized in a way that actually makes sense to implement. Plus you get resources you can print and use every day, and the chance to ask me questions directly.

Do I need to know if my baby has IgE or non-IgE allergies?

It helps, but if you're not sure, that's okay. We cover both types in detail, including how to recognize which one you're dealing with based on symptoms and timing. Most people walk away with much more clarity on this.

    What's your refund policy?

If you go through the course and genuinely don't feel more confident about starting solids, email us within 30 days and we'll make it right.
